Pre & Primary School

Hopeland Pre/Primary school is a Christian school which aims at providing children with Christian based Education so as to stimulate their capabilities spiritually, mentally, socially, emotionally and physically for economic growth and development. We refer to the scripture in Luke 2:52. The school also instills Christian discipline by establishing harmonious relationship with God (discipleship), self (acceptance), others (servant hood) and with creation (stewardship). The Preschool and Primary school are built on a foundation of recognising that all children are precious and equal in God’s sight. We currently offer Preschool (Baby Class – Top Class) and Primary (1-7). The school is educating approximately 130 Preschool students and 110 Primary School students.
Our vision is to create model schools that can influence the education standard in Eastern Uganda. We desire to reach children with the message of hope, love and acceptance.

Primary School Need

Because of the great success of our school here at the Hope Land base, we continue to grow every year! Every year we have parents requesting us to add another class to the school, enabling the students to receive their full primary training here at Hope Land. In February 2020 we began the Primary 7 class (in addition to Primary 1 - Primary 6 which opened in previous years) and our dream is to be able to see our students studying with an excellent education, preparing them to glorify God and influence the world they live in as they go through life.
We have an urgent need to build new classrooms to house the expanding school. We have paid for the land where the primary school will be built, but still need funding to build the classrooms. If you would like to partner with us in this ministry or to know more about the primary school please contact us.

We also have a need of financial support for some of the children who come from disadvantaged families. Currently. we only receive a maximum of 80% of our school fees every term from parents. Our hope is to provide scholarships or reduced rates to children from families unable to pay school fees, as our aim is to provide quality education for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Our school aims to receive enough fees to cover the payment of teachers, the costs of food, utilities and maintenance, and for future development. If we can educate 10 children per year through school sponsorships, we can bring a great change to the community. Are you willing to partner with us financially to educate a disadvantaged child?.
