Giving a Home to those who need it
People in Uganda become homeless for various reasons: Low-income jobs, a medical emergency, a divorce, mudslides during the rainy season... And in some cases, people do have a home, but it's a safety risk due to poor mudhouse construction or a door that can't lock, etc. We find the families most in need of a new home in Jinja and raise the funds to construct simple housing for them.
Homes of Hope Leader: Eric Mukisa
Eric has several years of experience with construction and ministry. Apart from the construction work, he enjoys visiting and talking to the families that will live in the homes of hope houses.
